TRIO Upward Bound @ SUNY Adirondack can get you started now on the path toward college success. Meet weekly at your home district during the school year to help you focus on your personal goals. Be sure to keep an eye out for our 6-week summer program as well.

Qualifications:
Entering grade 9; or not yet completed grade 12
Between the ages of 13 and 19
Interested in attending college after graduation
Enrolled in Argyle, Corinth, Fort Ann, Fort Edward, Glens Falls, Granville, Hartford, Hudson Falls, North Warren, Salem, South Glens Falls, Warrensburg or Whitehall High School
Have parents/guardians who have not yet completed a 4-year degree; or reside in a household that meets income guidelines
Demonstrate the willingness and ability to benefit from the Upward Bound program

Recruitment Process:
Upward Bound staff recruits in target schools through the course of the academic year, September–May. Potential participants may be recruited through a referral from a teacher or school counselor, attending a program presentation at school, or by reaching out to Upward Bound staff to indicate their interest.
