Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for participation in Upward Bound, a participant must be:

• A US citizen or permanent resident

• A potential First Generation College Student;

• A low income individual; or

• An individual who is at high risk for academic failure;

• Completed the 8th grade and and is at least 13 years of age but not older than 19

• Attending Argyle, Corinth, Fort Edward, Fort Ann, Granville, Glens Falls, Hartford, Hudson Falls, North Warren, South Glens Falls, Salem, Warrensburg, or Whitehall High School

(Above according to 34 CFR §645.3)

Income Eligibility

TRIO Upward Bound uses Taxable Income in order to determine low income status.
